Our Programs

Wholesome and fun camp experiences are what make Camp CaHiTo one of the most popular camps around. Activities include hiking, archery, arts and crafts, games, sports and more! Themes include Jr. Ranger, Archery, Wizardry of Chemistry, Art, Jewelry Making and more.

Youth Archery Clinics

Camp CaHiTo Youth Archery Clinics are the perfect place for children to stay safe, learn, and have fun! Camp CaHiTo Youth Archery Clinics are designed to introduce kids between the ages of 3 – 15 years old to archery, a sport they can enjoy and continue the rest of their lives. The club provides children with a safe and encouraging environment to learn, practice, and perfect their archery skills while also cultivating friendships and having a blast. Archery is considered a life time sport that teaches discipline, concentration, and precision.

Outdoor Education Field Trips

Plan a different type of field trip this year, by spending a unique day in our Outdoor Education Program. Give children first-hand knowledge and understanding of our natural resources. Support classroom curriculum through hands-on, outdoor activities. We encourage an environmentally sound lifestyle and activism in environmental issues – even with little ones.

Club Programs

Outdoor experiences, environmental awareness, friendships and fun play a big part in year-round activities. Camp Fire SD provides opportunities for youth to realize their potential. Through regularly scheduled small group meetings, classes and service projects, young people build their self-esteem, learn life skills and become responsible citizens concerned about and active in their communities.

Wolf Pack – Teens in Action

Our Teens in Action Program is youth-led and youth-driven, guided by trained adults. Through our service-learning framework, teens learn to identify community needs, decide what issues they want to advocate for, then take action to make a difference in their communities.

Teen Service & Leadership

Youth want to shape the world, especially teens! Teen service and leadership are vital to building healthy communities and a better world. To develop this important resource, Camp Fire guides teens through impactful community service and leadership experiences.

Camp Counselor-in-Training

Our Camp Counselor-in-Training Program prepares young people entering 11th-12th in Fall 2015 to serve in leadership roles in Camp Fire camps. These opportunities provide significant personal and early professional development for these young people.
