NEW try something new or old at our NEW Game/Sport Zone. Activities include Ping Pong, Soccer, Basketball and Axe Throwing
Art & Crafts is one the favorite past times at CaHiTo allowing campers to get creative with their hands and imaginations. Each session will have traditional art activities, including Lanyards, Painting, Beading, they will also have theme specific activities, such as Pirate Hats, Passport books for Amazing Race, Rocket Ships and more.
Thursday is Water Day, please pack a swimsuit for your camper, a towel and dry clothes.
If your camper is eight years or older at the start of camp he/she will have the opportunity to go swimming at the Boy Scouts of America pool, all campers eight years or older will go to the pool with their group. Swimming is a 1.5 hours long; Campers will leave camp at 10:30 am and return at approx 1:00pm.
Campers at the pool will play fun and unique water games and activities. Each camper is individually evaluated on his/her swimming skills on the first day of each session so that the best level of supervision can be provided at all times. Campers are not required to go swimming; other activities will be provided for campers. All campers 7 and under will have the opportunity to enjoy our amazing Water Slide & Slip n Slide onsite at Camp CaHiTo.
Overnights are available for Campers 6-14 years old.
Make your campers experience at Camp CaHiTo one of a kind. Campers get an experience of a lifetime while sleeping and playing under the stars; activities correlate to the week's theme. Overnights begin Thursday at 3:00 pm right after a traditional day at camp; campers are provided an afternoon snack, dinner, breakfast, and lunch the following day. Campers should bring a change of clothes for the next day, a mess kit (including a plate, bowl, utensils, and cup), sleeping bag, and toiletries.
Price: $60 pre-register or $70 week of registration
Camp CaHiTo Archery is for campers between the ages of 3 – 15 years old. It is a sport they can enjoy and continue the rest of their lives. We provide children with a safe and encouraging environment to learn, practice and perfect their archery skills. Archery is considered a life time sport that teaches discipline, concentration, and precision. Additionally, archery teaches accountability, responsibility, and important lessons about being responsible for our actions and the outcome of those actions.
Campers ages 5 and up all participate in hiking off site in the beautiful Balboa Park. Adventures include discovering the Creek Bed, Redwood Circle, the Marston House and more. These picturesque hikes allow the campers to discover hidden gems right in their own city/backyard, all while learning about nature.
A minimum of 2 groups (age appropriate) go hiking at a time, so 2 counselors are on hand at all times. Counselors always have radios and a cell phone in case of an emergency.

Swing like Tarzan across the forest with our Nitrous Swing. This great activity allows campers to work together with their group to move from one island to another using a rope swing.
For Campers 8 years & older.
Camp CaHiTo rock climbing is a fun and interactive climbing experience, emphasizing the importance of community by creating a fun and safe environment for friendships to develop, facilitate personal growth and learning, and help our campers reach goals. Each session is lead by coaches who assist campers in a fun and stimulating environment. Campers will learn climbing techniques and have a blast with original climbing games and activities designed to be physically and mentally engaging.
