For Campers 6-10 years old.
Learn all the skills to properly shoot a bow and arrow with Certified Archery Specialists. We will shoot at our Standard Course, our NEW Field Archery Course and at the Balboa Park Archery Range to perfect all our skills we’ve learned. Campers will be taught all the techniques and all equipment will be included for use.
Although it is a Speciality Camp campers also will get to do all of the other awesome activities CaHiTo has to offer; including hiking, archery, arts and crafts, sports, singing, forts, organized games, swimming (allowing that the camper is 8 and up at the start of program) and much more.
Program
A typical day begins with all Campers meeting at their Color Groups. At 9:05 am all groups will head to the Stage Area for Songs, Skits & Games.
All Campers will be called up by their counselor into small groups of children of the same age, with whom they will spend the entire session. Camp CaHiTo is a “group-centered” camp – meaning that our campers have the same counselor and peer group for the duration the camp session. Group-centered camping gives children the best opportunity to experience the powerful feeling of belonging, to make and keep new friends, and to connect with their counselors.
Our Specialty Programs includes a minimum of 1.5 – 2 hours a day of Specialty specific programming. They will also participate in daily traditional camp activities, all of which are age-appropriate games, hikes, and more determined by their counselors to fit the theme of the week and what the group likes to do. Activities include Archery, Hiking, Low Ropes, Swimming, Art and Crafts, Fort Building, Organized Games and more.
We invite you and your child to come and check us out at one of our Upcoming Meet & Greets.
